Shaving soap holder [one handed tricks]

To use a shaving soap, it helps having it fixed when applying the brush to it.

To that effect, I 3D-printed a soap-holder insert, that allows the shaving soap to firmly sit on top.

The technical solution is a 3D-printed thingy that clips into my soap-holder and keeps the soap in place.

Then, I was in Toulouse at the 2023 ISFRI meeting there.

As a free giveaway they included these block soaps. So I  replaced my used up previous shaving soap that I kept on that 3d printed mount with the Toulouse soap and a colleague – that didn’t want to hold on to his – gave me his, that one is still in the original paper, wrapped.

I’m not spending a whole lot of money on such stuff, so there’s my razor, there’s my current shaving soap that I sparingly use since then, and the other spare one still packaged up. I love that soap, brings back nice memories every morning.

I may get a new set of shaving blades in a few years (or so) (who knows), but things really aren’t that hectic around here.
