A bionic hand roboticist research supervisor recently confessed to me that - among the two of us - he'd question why try to simulate (missing) hands at costs that would run up to millions each year - while at the same time, and with perfectly functioning hands, there were millions of people trying to immigrate and look for jobs, while also there were thousands of people looking for partners.
