Bass guitar play {left handed}

I got myself a second hand Vester ‘tradition line’ jazz bass guitar. E-guitars are nice but it is always drum and bass that really set the groove…

I use full force tap-ons, full friction sliding, full force pull-offs and provide some muffling with the stump. I have tried to improve my rhythm as hitting the right notes hard is hard enough but playing them with sustain and right on time is really trickier than it seems.
